OYEKAN Presents the Year 2026 Budget to the Legislative Arm.
The Executive Chairman, Lagos Island Local Government Hon. Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan presents the Year 2026 Budget Themed “Budget of Hope, Empowerment and Infrastructure” to the Legislative Arm on Monday, 15th December 2025.
The Presentation marked a Significant Milestone in the Local Government’s Pursuit of Strategic Growth, Inclusive Governance, and Sustainable Development, setting a strong foundation for future progress.
Hon. Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan, The Executive Chairman Lagos Island Local Government while delivering his Speech highlighted achievements within his First 100days including Free Primary healthcare for residents, Distribution of Writing Materials, Renovation of Primary School, Free School Buses, Empowering over 1,000 residents, Weekly Environmental Sanitation, Regular Desilting of Drainage System and many more.
The Executive Chairman reconfirmed his Administration’s Commitment in ensuring Lagos Island Residents enjoy the Dividends of Democracy.
The Leader of the 11th Legislative Council, Hon. Badru Isiaka, Commended the Executive Chairman’s Achievements and pledged the Legislative Arm’s support for the Administration’s project and initiatives.
He also appeal to the Management staff to ensure the prompt Execution of Developmental Projects and to Support the Administration in order to make Lagos island Local Government great.
